after many hours of labor , many posts on tworld , and reading ( and following ) many suggestions ..... my brakes r outfrigginstanding .they can put your unsuspecting passenger straight into the dash !!!! Heres how it went 4 me - check all pads =no change . adjust up rears = no change . blead all brakes / change out old fluid = no change .check / adjust e brake =no change . the other day , while tearing into the front end for other maint. I bought toyota discs and pads for the front . wham , breaks r great now . pics r takeoffs , note the pads were ceramics . i bought the truck with these on , end of the pen in pics shows pads recessed on all ends (not 100 percent contact area ) . new toyota pads are flat to the ends ( will call that 100 percent contact area ). sorry didnt take pics of new pads . maybe factory pads are not ceramic ? hope this helps someone else ....
