The share price still shows $499, but the math doesn’t add up in the total value column. It must be a glitch. I better get 72 shares on Monday.

It's the original cost vs present value issue...it will settle out on Sept 2...TD had a warning that this would happen for AAPL and TSLA after the split and not to panic...

On the flip side our vanguard account shows that we have X shares at 499/ea instead of the split price. was weird seeing a LARGE jump in our account balance at first since they didn't update the share price yet.

I assume you are just messing around and know the majority of death certificates, regardless of what they list as cause of death, list underlying conditions that may have attributed to their death. This doesn’t really mean much to me, as the majority of Americans over 40 would be found to have some underlying condition. CDC also shows graph of weekly expected deaths, compared to previous years, and the jump in 2020 is significant. So if we are arguing who cares, these people would have died of something else in 5 or 10 years anyway, then I guess ok. I don’t know the value of an extra year of someone’s life. All we really feel pretty confident about is younger, healthy people mostly aren’t harmed.

I am not. I truly believe this is a cold, not even close to the severity of the flu. A political driven scam.

We can all believe whatever we want I guess. But a worldwide media driven political scam is too much for me.

When I see 187,000 deaths in the U.S., and 4,000 in China, it’s just impossible for me to take any of it seriously.

But now your are trusting the secretive and controlling Chinese government over the reporting of nearly every other country. I’m not saying any of the numbers are accurate. But I’m not calling it a cold. It’s possible our country just did the worst job or have the worst overall health

I’m not trusting China, and even more so not trusting the U.S. I am just saying, that disparity makes me question it all, rather than just putting on my mask and believing it. Over 2.5 million pneumonia deaths in 2017 and no masks.

Again, those are just statistics that mean nothing here. 1/3 of those deaths are children under 5, mostly in Africa and parts of Asia, and it can nearly eradicated in those age groups with vaccination. It’s not the same.

I thought Tesla was a gold mine when I bought at 180 and sold at 350.....I’m leaning towards a vibranium mine now.

Sorry, but I don’t care enough to strongly disagree. So I’ll have to politely disagree to your agreement to strongly disagree. :hattip:
