So the 20% off coupon is pretty much worthless ?

read the exclusion list , it’s pretty much everything in the store

what kinda scam are they trying to run

Half the store is worthless, first of all. Second, their stuff is already cheap. The discount comes when buying their item instead of competitors item.

They still have a lot of sales, even if the 20% coupon discount excludes big ticket items any day and every day, the sale prices for the large stuff that’s excluded on the coupon still ends up being 20% off, usually.

You just have to wait for a quarterly sale.

Good on most hand tools, aside from Icon stuff, consumables (bits, blades, flap wheels, etc), random crap like furniture dollys, gloves. I find a use for it every time I'm in *shrug*

I find their power tools can be hit or miss. I can buy a drill and someone else buy the exact same drill at the same time and mine will crap it's self in one use. While the other person's drill will run for years. My brother bought their cheapest drill for one side job and it lasted him for two years before it smoked itself.

Genny arrived, no wheel kit. Says 'unable to fulfill.' :( Email sent to CS.

It would be nice if they put the oil and gas capacity in the specs. :annoyed:

Picked up a Bauer portable band saw yesterday. First impression is good. Used it to cut tubing that I am using to build headers. Faster and cleaner than using a grinder.
    $100 with code.

Filled with oil and gas, started 1st pull. Ran it for a while, then put a light fan (in a electric heater) load on it. after a few minutes I turned on the heater at 1000w, sound changed but ran fine. Turned the heater to 1500w, sound changed again but still running fine. Shut it down and started it again after sitting overnite, started 1st pull. It's not quiet, but not obnoxiously loud either. I like it.

This is a great design! Did you get all the parts at HF? I have seen the tires obviously. I was thinking of something like this recently when we had to haul a full ass RTIC down some 30 or 40 yards of loose trail. :)

Got the bauer 1/2” impact with the 3.0ah battery and a charger for 156.85 out the door . The impact was open box so they took off 20% plus another $20 for the deal they had going on . The box just looked rummaged throu , so i took the deal . It worked great taking off the lug nuts to do a brake and rotor job today and removing the caliper (the caliper bolts were alitttle frozen so i used PB Blaster and the harbor frieght breaker bar )

so far im pleased with the purchase .

Cleaned out my local HF of their 4 1/2" flap discs. They are on coupon for .99. Work great. There's a limit of 4 but my local place they don't care. Even let me run my 20% off twice on two organizers for my wife.

And the stuff excluded on the coupon is well worth the price still, like the tool boxes and the daytona jacks. Half the time, those items have their individual coupon that is generally 15-20% anyways. Got my 499 42" box for 399 last summer.
