Gotta love Amazon. Ordered part number 23300-62030 which is the CORRECT fuel filter for my application. Upon receiving the box noticed that the original sticker was for PN

$50 23300-79446 Toyota Fuel Filter - 23300-79446

23300-79446 which is for a different application. After opening the fuel filter is a completely different part number from the two on the box and is 23300-75031.

WTF!!! Thankfully free returns but still...such a PITA. looks like I’m putting in an order at Toyota directly.

I tried looking up the seller but since it ships from Amazon I couldn’t find anything out. I don’t think I could, the brackets are different and the inlet and outlet have a weird metal holster. Don’t wanna try unscrewing my current filter to find out the new one has the wrong size

Does anyone in San Francisco have a dremel with cutting wheel attachment that is willing to let me borrow it for a an hour or so? I forgot I let my dad borrow mine and its up in Sacramento.

I'm currently installing my stereo system and need to cut two tabs off the back wall in order to get the sub box to sit correctly.

I mean, it's not bad, but there are plenty of other options.

 

It does suck to fish, I see MONSTERS Everytime we go kayaking there. The underwater weeds are thick. I don't know the best was to fish it. There are a couple spots that are ok, under the bridges are good spots and trolling seems to work well the the rest of the lake is a crap shoot. Weird that a record rainbow was pulled out of there a while ago. I am also hesitant on eating anything out of there as well.

I have a long bed crew cab 99 dodge diesel, parking lots nowadays are so cramped it is a pain to park, I end up parking like a dipshit all the time because that is the only way. Lowes, and Safeway are the worst in our area so I end up pulling through and sometimes having to take two spots to keep the bumper out of the lane. Poor planning but I still like swinging the thing around and making people nervous haha

not in SF but have the dremel with cutting wheel attachment that I used for my TBU. Feel free to come pick it up in foster city if you want but that might be a drive...

might need do also get more cutting wheels from Home Depot. Not sure if I have any extras.

 

I’ll be heading down to chron in Marin Headlands for a surf in a little bit if you want to meet me. They only pull 170 watts or so, so you could do the cuts right there in the parking lot.
