My 265/70/17 KO2s rub quite a bit turning and going into a dip or driveway. It doesn't seem to be doing much damage to the mudflap, but it is annoying. But my truck looks so much better that I just live with it.

265/70/17 is the primo definitive tire you can get away with not doing anything and be totally fine on stock/oem wheels.

I really like the thread pattern of toyo's AT2, i think its better than KO2s. But the sidewall doesnt have much. I like tires with beefy sidewall lugs. The toyo AT3 is better, i considered them but still i wasnt happy with sidewall protection. I ended up going with ko2s again, just got a new set installed last monday.

Edit: my work van has toyo AT2s and they are amazing in snow, rain and in general. Just a slight hum on the hwy.

Suppose you are right haha I thought the sidewalls looked a little more aggressive than that. Do they make ko2s in a 265/75/16 c load? Or just e? Or are they only available in 17s?

In 16" , they only do E load. In 17" you can have both, i prefer C of course and thats what i got. 265/70/17. Silent on hwy but great and tough off road, best of both worlds.

@Mrtacoman88: when i bought those the at3s wasnt available yet. they look great though! definately on my list of tire to try out when i get a spare set of wheels. the ko2s look awesome, they always have. the whole thing about them though is they are so expensive when you have other tires that offer just as much and look just as good. just the options we have to consider especially in hawaii when everything is so inflated lol.

Yes, KO2s are expensive. They do have the durabilty down though, also bfg/michelin has the best customer service from my experience. I think there are couple of AT tires that have a better thread, but i just really like the sidewall protection KO2s offer.

They are goodyear ultra terrains. Available at discount tire. It is their in house duratrac tire, although they still sell the normal duratracs.

265/75/16's C. Goodyear Duratracs stock suspension no rubbing none at all.

Tires are awesome in the sand, mud and gravel not to mention they look really good. On the road they sound like the aggressive AT's they are.
There is a hum, it's not obnoxious, but it's not a street tire either. I have lost about 3 miles to the gallon.
If this was 2012 I would be pissed, but gas is cheap so it's not so much of an issue.

Edit: I wanted the KO2's. I really like the BFG's. However I read a lot of reviews and talked to a couple of KO2 owners and they all said the new KO2 are not that great on really wet roads. Also the E load on a midsize truck is a pretty harsh ride.

I had them on a 2001 Range rover and they were great. I looked for them specifically because of past experience.
Found four E load on clearance by my house $120/each. They have deeper tread than SL but same number of belts per
    the salesman.
