Got enough to run the fridge and the TV. Don't know what else I'd need. Haha

Hey Arkansas neighbors. My old folks are in Mena for a couple weeks, looking to scout out a place to buy. They're nice folks from the Ohio suburbs, they want to buy a piece of land to retire on soon and do a small hobby farm. Would anybody happen to have a recommendation for a decent realtor I can get them in contact with?

I don't know anyone out that way but if they're interested in central AR there is a 1,200 acre farm near me that was parceled up for auction about a month ago.

Thanks. I think that might be further East than they're looking for, but I'll mention it for sure.

I don't know any realtors either, but depends what they are looking for. Hwy 88 East of town has alot of small acreages and nice houses. Anywhere N or S of town on Hwy 71/59 is traffic/truck busy. Hwy 88 to the West is pretty busy with tourists up and down to Queen Wilhelmina Dr., but really pretty area.

@Dave_M etal. With the best Labor Day weather in the last 10 yrs... how about we re-create the first weekend we met you and Alisha. A leisurely drive past Lake Sylvia, hike Flatside Pinnacle and Saturday camp at Cedar Creek Lake as a going away thing? The usual gang is invited, and new guys/gals or most welcomed for a Sat/Sun GTG overnight and be home for Labor Day. BYOBBBFDFW etc.

I’ll be a little further west in the boat. Either Hamilton or Ouachita or both. Who knows.

    I wish I could.

If anyone is looking to buy tires, Discount Tire has $150 in mail-in rebates on STT Pros combinable with a 10% prepaid card returned to you with mail-in paperwork. The ST Maxx's have $100 rebate with the 10% off prepaid card. That makes a set of 265/75r16 Maxx's $666.80 and 265/75r16 Pro's $714.00. Not mounted and balanced, obviously. But that's still not too bad for Coopers, I think. Those combined rebates are 08/31-09/07. Definitely need to be getting tires; so, I think I'm gonna jump at that. Even though I need rotors/pads and my boat motor needs a shift linkage seal, gotta get the deals while they're there. :headbang:

EDIT: apparently, the 10% card back is if you have a discount tire credit card :( nerp
