anyone use duplicolor bed liner spray can

on the tailgate for traction?

 

I've used it on my rear bumper. I don't know if it would provide much traction. It's pretty smooth to the touch.

 

has to be better than the stock plastic......my dog needs traction

 

I've used it before, and it will actually be worse. Especially when wet.

 

shit.....what are my options

 

get a bed mat and drill some holes in it then replace some of the bolts in the tailgate with longer ones and bolt it on. cut to fit that would be the best.

 

very classy fix but wouldnt a bit of carpet be tons cheaper? might be time for a bed rug too which would fix it. op: im thinkin of doin the same thing as a temp step between now and when i cap off the bed and toss a camping set up of undetermined type back there

 

i got a deezee bedmat.....my 100r leer cap is coming.......just my lab is all sketchy on the tailgate......carpet yeah sounds good

 

i used it i did my whole bed on my 05 f150 came out awesome. i liked it.

 

my kids have a much sketchyer time gettin out than in. yeah, it makes me nervous too. with my lab gettin older and his hips in tough shape, im thinkin about makin him a carpet covered wooden plank to use as well. guess i could just attatch some extra to the plank to drape into and over the bedmat and call it good. its a thought
