    This is true, honestly I feel like I've been paying premium for parts anyway compared to american stuff, american car parts... even new ones are chinese crap most of the time and the pricing reflects that.

    So, I've had to work on this car a couple time, to change the high pressure fuel pump and to change the boost control solenoid. The parts were spendy for sure, but not overwhelmingly so and it was all stuff from BMW and made in Germany. Spendy yes, the only thing that actually scares me on it is the DCT. The trans is money, shifts amazing, but if it goes out there are no parts for it, its a replacement type thing besides the clutches. Same with the actual 6 speed manual though so either way you end up in the same boat.
