Sounds like last weekend for me. Like an idiot I took my shop jack out and my impact to make room for buns and bread in my tool drawer. Going to a palace I’ve been a 1000 times with no problems. Put a stick through my tire. I got stupid lucky and the stock lug wrench fit the special socket except I had replaced a upper ball joint the week before and sent the lugs home with the impact. I found some scrap wood around camp someone left behind to get the stock jack high enough, problem was they were triangles cut out of 6” squares. No full-size spare luckily the wife drove over with us so I could run the tire into town. New wheel for a full-size spare is ordered, my plug kit was useless because air compressor is supposedly coming on the first after being on backorder since early July and I’m buying a swing out bumper Labor Day weekend. I was beyond pissed at myself leaving my truck in a pile of Janga blocks that looked like sandwiches cut in half to make some room for buns and shit and leaving my good shit at the house.

If anyone's looking for a cool place, take FS21 just outside of Packwood about 25 miles south to Walupt lake. Reserved camping spots at the lake but plenty of spots along the way up as well

I just pulled the trigger on some big boi tires. Haven't had time to cut the rear fenders yet but everything feels great so far.

Nah, they're 315's. Had a buddy who bought them for a project and put 40 miles on em before the motor blew. Traded him a Rem700 and some cash.
    So, I guess 34.6" :anonymous:

They look really good on there. I’m a little partial to the MTRs though.

How have they held up for you? I have gone through 2 sets of cooper stt maxxs and absolutely loved em. Get between 30 and 40k out of em and still sold them with 50% tread. I was expecting these MTRs to be louder than they are.

I run around a little under 30# of air all the time and had some cam tab issues that destroyed my fronts on my last set. I have the rears up front now and two new rears. The old rears are probably 30%. They are a year old almost to the day and have 30k on them. I’ve ran them on two other trucks and they needed replaced around 35k-40k. For as damn expensive they are it would be nice if they lasted longer but they hook up really well in mud and snow but I bought them for function not durability. The Duratracs last forever though. I got 65k out of my 265’s. In a perfect world I would run Duratracs all summer and slap on the MTR’s when the snow and mud starts showing up.

FS 7030. You can also do stampede pass while you’re in the area if you want to come in from i90

I just got back from a trip to Dargoa SP and I was pretty loaded with a full truck, RTT, and pulling a utility trailer with some camping gear. I thought rebuilding my coilovers would fix this gnarly squeak I get when I'm going highway speeds and either hit bumps or its a rough road, but it didnt fix it. It for sure sounds like the front end. The UCAs have new delta joints and bushings. I'm thinking lower ball joints or lower bushings? It's a pretty unique sound and its really pissing me off, if I'm going 70 its like a constant squeak.

This was also a no from the ranger, i told her i was just trying to follow the rules and have all tents on the tent pads, she was not amused.

On a side note we were about to go over Blewitt pass Friday night when we saw the signed before you head up going north that it was closed in both directions for a serious accident. Later to find out it was a triple fatality DUI and one victim was the causing drivers 11 yo passenger! So tragic and sad. We were probably only an hour behind it.

The 35x12.5x17s are not much bigger. I think 34.8" But they come in C range, which is why I'll be going with that. They also have really good mileage.

I thought stampede pass was wide open, no narrow spots. Cool detour though.

We must have took a few wrong turns but still came out at the right spot to 410
It started out pretty wide with a bunch of pot holes
Then it got narrow and it was mostly loose rocks I was there Friday noon to Sunday night we did a bunch of different trails but most of them were narrow with some nice views
