    There could easily be good arguments made that the shutdown and subsequent bs has caused more harm than was necessary. It’s too messy now to get fixed without a vaccine I fear. It doesn’t even really need to work that well. People just need to think they are safe.

    I'm telling you all right now something major is going on with the Internet. Yesterday morning there was a massive outage of DNS routing all around the East Coast. It didn't even make the news. It wasn't reported anywhere it lasted about three hours. I'm pretty sure the same attack is happening now against financial institutions and yesterday must've been a test run against non-specific entities
