Yes, I would love to have another DD, but they are proud of their stuff. I am currently trying to Frankenstein a AR-10 for competition.

Proud for good reason from what I can tell at least but yea hear ya.

That's cool. I got a buddy who shoots USPSA events. I would like to get into it but I already have too many hobbies and not enough time or money. Also ammo sucks right now and might get worse... If I start that I won't have an excuse to not reload.. Slippery slope... What comps do you shoot in?

Just a local deal. Pete and another guy set up 4 stages somewhere in AL. Fun to go to and lots of learning. I have only been out there twice. Last shoot was in March before the beer flu really started.

DD make damn good stuff. Not knocking them because of form or function. Hell, they are cheaper than some of the other big names out there.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Got to shoot my buddies JP AR
The other day, now I have some pretty trick ones I have built, but that things was slick. I mean the groups I had were for my skill level, very on point and the roller trigger was impressive.
I run geissele in pretty much everything I own unless it was a bolt action that came with something nice.
Hands down probably the nicest AR I have shot, and probably the most $$$.
A side charging handle touch me a sec to get used to, but felt similar to my SCAR. But a bit awkward at first. After about 500rds I was moving thru mags like butter. Hard to say if I like it better than the rear charging handle or not.

Did it out perform my seriously Modded BCM..yes, but not by much in my hands.

Side charging does take some getting used to. Never really handled a lot of them, but some FAL's on occasion. For my AR's, I am running some 2 stage LaRue Tactical straight bow triggers. very smooth and crisp.

I don’t think he’d be giving a heads up to the group if he were trying to take advantage of it for himself:rolleyes: Could be wrong!

Anyone heading out this weekend for some trail riding, mudding, shooting, kayaking, canoeing, or freshwater fishing? Interested in helping me with a project? I need to get some user action shots for a company I'm working with. In exchange for a couple of useable shots, I can provide you with some free products. PM me for details.

EDIT: Preferably near Gainesville, Blairsville, Helen, Commerce, Athens area for easy meetup

Also I'm a decent camera man, as I've been told.

I think my joke missed... Side affects of being a dad is my story. My point was I would also need to go win the lottery to afford it. :anonymous:

I'm guessing this is obvious and I'm not one with personal knowledge from here, but my family that lives down that way end up having a lot of friends/do this in LA too... Lower Alabama... There would seemed to be a lot of people around Auburn that would be a lot closer to you.FWIW also biggest sleeper outdoor activity in Columbus I would never have thought of is the white water rafting.

Oh yeah I've been rafting twice. Trying to get into it but I gotta sit tight for a few weeks to find gear for a price I can get behind

For whatever reason I can’t share this from FB via my phone. I went back and tried to manually search for it and had no luck. Seems to be too good of a price?
