Good morning all, ran into the bear taking the boys out this morning a 0530, chased him towards the neighbors house - and it was 39 this morning.

The puppy is getting big and just learned how to go down stairs but stopped dead in her tracks with the smell of the bear.



I will share an updated pic soon she is now twelve weeks old (pic is 10 weeks)

Morning, enjoying the cooler weather?

 

When I wheeled the trash to the curb at 5am it was about 82° and it almost felt cold. We're still getting the humidity so it's still sucking. Still have about 30 days of this before breaks up.

WTF? Our heat index for today is 112 degrees. It was 83 degrees at 80% humidity at 0500.

 

That I have never seen or heard of.it comes in a can ?

 

change of plans today. got off work this morning,ate a biscuit with some of the best maple syrup ive had in years(gift from a friend)cracked the sliding door to hear the rain and hit the couch reading 50+ thread.Just Woke Up.its good though keeps my sleep on nite scedule. Were invited to Dalsons Sat.dove season comes in. all the boys are going dove hunting then beer and hotdogs at his place. Grilled bacon wrapped dove breast too.my age is showing. im not hunting but we will go to the picnic.sitting on a 5gal. bucket going through boxes of shells in Hot,Humid heat, nope. plus nobody has cut corn yet this year.Dalson is the one i claim as my 3rd son. love him and Grace like family.

Puppy shot and we are supposed to get a dusting of the white stuff (above 9K) this week.

 

Haven't had it but I think I'll order some for the zombie invasion.

 

Afternoon

What a day so far

Went to my local Auto club to pay the registration fees on the Camaro . That took over 45 min waiting outside in a long line . Then once inside it took less than 5 minutes to get my tags and registration . Thanks to California Covid regulations

Still debating on getting a haircut today as the wait time is anywhere from 3 hours to as less than 1.5 hrs again thanks to Covid

 

Decided to get my haircut , just signed in with a 108 minute wait time !!!!

 

I feel your frustration Chuck, everything takes soooo much longer. I think a lot more of the errands I run,vs the time I have.

 

Weren't you complaining about no one wearing a mask or social distancing not too long ago?

 

Rough day....

Since last here; Started 3rd phase of chemo. New drug with (allegedly) fewer side effects. Also added med to reduce leg pain and swelling.

Long story short.... Not doing as well as I once was.

Cancer sucks
