Who gets tired of hearing that the TRD Sport 4x4 isn't off road capable? It's a Toyota truck!!

    Best quote of that video.

"A lot of people like the image of off-road, they don't necessarily go on anything more severe than this. So if you could just like logically breakdown what you really need your truck to do, you might come to the conclusion the Ridgeline is enough."

Big difference between capable in the mud & snow, and Off-Road. Without lockers it is not a very capable Off-Road vehicle.

    Period the end.

    Not surprising.

2WD truck owners are notorious for their lack of a sense of humor...

Only reason I went to them was when the Bridgestone MT's were discontinued in my size. That was a solid MT tire.

The Firestones were tough as nails tires. Traction about on par with the Bridgestone MT's. They did seem to get a little noisier quicker though. And once those wore out, I couldn't do them again. Something about the sidewall lugs. Those tires were exceptionally annoying driving on dry, slightly rutted (as in 1" to 2" depression ruts) dirt roads. Kept wanting to pull the truck side to side, up the ruts. Back and forth. Never had another tire act like that before. But there it was, each time I went out. It seemed a constant fight to keep the truck in a straight line and not be constantly jerked out of ruts. Quite odd.

Other than that, no real complaints. But my search for my new tire had to continue. I did move on to Goodyear Duratracs after that (of course, not an MT). Only one cycle on those as well. Did not like that tire one bit for other reasons. Went to Bridgestone MTR's from there. Good tire, but moved on. I am now on Cooper ST Maxx (also not an MT, but aggressive hybrid that works for me). So far (20k miles) great tires. If they continue as they've been, I'll not switch from these.
