Yeah remember when I had my slider debacle last year? Well, I got underneath my 2nd gen and 3rd gen and pulled a tape and took some measurements. The measurements are close, but still different enough to affect mounting placement holes.

Yeah as far as frames go between the 2 generations they are very similar but holes, rivets, and then up towards the front where it kicks in and up towards the engine around the trans crossmember area the 3rd gen is a little narrower.

I pulled a Saab out of the sand with my winch. Learned something even aired down MT are worse in the sand than my old Duratracs AT are so much better. The MT lugs just want to dig like shovels. I had to really keep momentum going. That and I got a friggin' parking ticket $50 first ticket in 7 yrs. I was doing so well before that I couldn't go 6 months without a ticket of sorts

I had to pull a car out of the sand a few years back. I threw them the tow strap and told them that I was not liable for anything breaking on their car! lol It was deep sand and I don't know what they were thinking when they drove off the blacktop on to it. I had my Buckshot mudders on and they did quite well in the sand.
