Not dealing with the logo, I'm not sure I could sand them off without f'ing up the finish. I thought maybe rubbing alcohol might work, but again not wanting to damage the plastic just decided to leave them alone. Hardly noticeable.

I got mine from Action Car and Truck in town. Ordered online and they ship to the store for pickup.

I was thinking the same thing when I got mine. The shipping box it came in was huge too. What a waste lol

It does have a gear adjustment setting, but it's not to be used by the Tacoma (I tried). The speed in the Tacoma is read by the tire sensors, so changing the gears in the speedo correction unit drastically throws off the speedometer...

I plan on taking a multi-tool to cut out the fluff, and turn it into some kind of Tacoma specific kit. Rough Country has the box for other parts, so I'm sure they just repurposed some of them. It's actually a nice box, and reminds me of the Dewalt boxes.

I installed a Black and Grey Wheelskin's steering wheel cover on my 2020 SR Tacoma today. Took my 3 hours, but not bad for a 73 year old "Old Fart"!!!!!

All emblems an vinyl removed. Started on passenger side. Iron X, clay bar, Rupes medium yellow wool an keramik fine to remove heavy defects. Once all heavy defects removed I'll go back over to refine/jewel, followed by prep before Kamikaze ISM 1.0 ceramic coating. This will allow me to coat all the plastic and undercover ultra flex tonneau cover. 20200830_133829.jpg 20200830_122250.jpg

    I like.
I also just went AVS after getting a set of Weathertech that looked terrible when they arrived. Also were too light in color and would not seat correctly

I soaked mine with goo gone for about 15 minutes each and they came off pretty easy. A few places I had to scratch off with my fingernail. No damage at all.

The best way to remove the AVS logo is non-acetone fingernail polish remover. Used it on at least 10 sets of AVS. Had them on every truck for many many years.

Be careful using HFT adapters and breaker bars. I have snapped off several. I suggest spend a little more for quality. Still cannot beat their impact sockets for the money.

yeah, i usually buy better quality tools but i was planning on using the adapters for just the bed step install so if they break i'm not really worried. hopefully they'll last long enough to get the job done. thanks for the advice though

If you are going to be working on the truck often, it is best to invest on an impact set.
I have used this set for two years now, you can feel the quality. It also comes with a swivel joint. The ratchet is also pretty heavy, not sure for what reason though... It is good for a work out lol.

There is also the complete master set, which I am aiming to replace with.
