Short? Or buy puts? Either way it's hard to find the time to root against a beast people just "want to own". Classic example is DIS how the F is it knocking on $140??? $20/share higher than Dec 2019? It makes absolutely no sense. I bought Disney puts based upon this and I'm eating my ass because of it

Agreed on the phones, and an even bigger problem is that they're making them so good they last a long time. But as @indoomitable said, once they get you into that iPhone ecosystem, you're stuck there. I am in it, and everything I need as far as Services goes will be AAPL. Multiply me by billions and I think they'll keep rolling fine (and get a higher multiple since Services margins are so much better than hardware).

For you doomsday preppers, COVID disbelievers, and for those that live above the average thought process, here is a link. He talks about stocks, finance, and retirement as well.
Also, I love this guy. If you’re not subscribed to his channel you should check him out. (Unless you’re a libtard, then you’ll hate him).

" I do believe they have gone parabolic" What does this mean? Please dumb it down for this knuckle dragger.

Well, I would rather use Tesla as the example because them more so than Apple have gone parabolic. At least Apple is an extremely profitable business. I just don’t know if they will be growing as much in the future as they have been in the past. I’m a bear. Kind of like what happened to IBM I think is in the works for Apple eventually. Look at Tesla. Their share price is going up and up and up and yet they don’t have the income as a company to warrant that increase in share price. Watch this video when you get time. It should help. https://youtu.be/2WBZfYva6Hg
    Also, Google PE ratios.

I use to say that Tesla was way over priced at 200, 300, 400 etc. I finally bought in at 1500 a share. Do I agree with the evaluation? Nope not one bit, but I got my stop losses set when it decides to take a shit.

Here is AAPL’s chart lately. I say parabolic just based on how it looks, and it’s not sustainable to keep going up like that:

That may work, but it also might not work. If the price reaches your stop loss order and no one is buying then your order won’t be sold.. it will just zoom right past your stop loss and go down, down, down. That’s the only thing that scares me about it. If everyone panics and sells and no one is buying..? You’re screwed.

Dude I know. That’s insane. Same with other tech. This is the same thing that happened in the late 90’s during the .com bubble.
Apple does make money though. They have a high P/E ratio which is not great. However, their P/E ratio isn’t stupid compared to other tech. Its only high if they don’t continue to grow their company. Which is what I’m afraid of.

You can set a stop for market rather than a stop limit.... It will likely sell for less than the amount you put, but at least it won't fail to sell at all.

Regardless, I believe there is a bubble and I believe that it will pop like it always does and it will drag the broader market with it. If you invest in companies that are undervalued right now then you don’t have anything to worry about. You’re stocks will depreciate, but you can keep buying more like normal and dollar cost average and when things return you’ll be doing great. I do like the volatility when it’s there though because I can usually manage to swing some quick profits.

Here is what scares me. Back then, CSCO was a great company, and still is. It’s still not even close to its bubble high 20 years ago. This is what good companies do after a bubble pops (i.e. AAPL):

Yeah... my commitment to balance has me missing out on some quick profits as of late, but my portfolio won't feel much when the FANG boys finally do slip (if they do). Currently beating the S&P by just over 5% in 2020 :D

I’ll likely get in Apple when that happens. I just don’t want to hop on the bandwagon with everyone else. You are a different story though because you have held them long term. History always repeats itself especially in the market.
Something I’m worried about is our dollar though. Is it even going to be a thing when I’m ready to retire? Are we even still going to have the same government system? The same way of life? What is happening to U.S.A. As we know it?

Yes, but I refuse to change my view of the world. It is FANG, and that's how it is! Lol

I am watching this closely, like everyone, and for a few reasons I’m not worried (yet).

For one, we have an entire generation of experienced warriors, and most are ready to put stars on their CARs if it becomes necessary. That’s millions of people, literally just waiting to fight back.

Two, in my humble opinion, one company of Marines could put an end to this in under a week. I know that would never happen, but it’s a way to gauge the severity of the riots. It’s a bunch of punk kids, nothing more.

Definitely a situation to monitor though.

I was more or less referring to the globalist, terrorist, communist. I’ve been calling this virus more than a virus from the beginning..
