Already posted this over in the Oregon/WA truck spotting group... Wondering if y'all know a good thread to ask about the Pacific Crest overland route in Oregon.

It’s pretty wide open, most of the roads branching off of it are really brushy though.

Well found a coolant leak today  - looks like my winch power lines rubbed a whole in one of hard lines. 06E90D48-A656-412F-A4B1-3D3E942EB347.jpg

Went up to Lonesome Lake today, perfect day for it. Not a single person the whole way up there, was really nice and quiet. Some other trails I'd like to explore if I weren't by myself. Maybe do a group run up there before the weather turns to shit.

An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
We usually get a good 100 yards off the road anyways. Half the time I end up below the PCT picking as I go.

That looks like Meadow Pass. It's close to Stampede Pass but a whole lot more brushy!

I’ll go up there with you, been on every road up there, most don’t go anywhere but you can do a big loop and come back down the 73 road which also takes you to 410. Makes for a nice drive

That’s the dangerous part of that spot, so many berries (I swear they get bigger the farther down you go) by the time you’re done picking you’re about 3 beers from the road

Yeah it was great. I just sat by the lake for about 30 minutes and it was as quiet as could be. Just sat there and watched the fish jump.

Good to know! I think I'm going to let a little air out cause they do feel a little stiff. I already flattened all my cam tabs prior to this so I already did tab gussets thank goodness. Just picked up a spare set of spindles to do the gussets on those too. If anyone needs a spare set of spindles...I'll hopefully have some available soon.

I’m interested in the spindles. I’ll need some winter projects.

Some friends I've done side work for in the past ran duratracs on a 3rd gen dodge 2500 diesel and got 60k miles on them there too. I was strongly considering getting them for my truck, 2nd gen dodge 2500 diesel, but the price tag was a few pennies more than I was prepared to pay.
I ended up going Cooper AT3. Hopefully they hold up well for me. I want to say they have a 55k mile warranty and already had one replaced for a blowout. I was pulling a very tail heavy 20 ft flatbed trailer, and my brake controller and/or wiring is having issues and not working. 55 zone and the trailer ended up whipping around and I flipped about a 180 on the highway, and managed to do it without hitting anybody else or any of the concrete barriers. The one tire bubbled on a sidewall, and the load on the trailer shifted off one side. While trying to shift the load back, the bubble on the tire gave up on life. That tire also had 6 oz of weight on one side for balancing, and when it was first put on the truck, I thought I lio read that it was out of round.

Anybody want some stock 2nd gen front springs and shocks? Will (@penguins_cc ) gave them to me from his truck to put on mine, then I went with OME later on. I think he said they had about 30k miles, no top hats. These are the toyota bilsteins. I've also got factory u bolts as well from the rear leaf pack, but I gave the leaf springs away to another person already.
That all goes for the same price of meeting up with me while I'm on that side of the state this upcoming labor day weekend. I am going to drive over friday, and probably be in Sammamish friday night, then head north to Lake Goodwin (Marysville/Smokey Joint area) for the rest of the time, then head back to i90 east to get home.

If anybody wants to buy a Bluesea 12 circuit fuse block on the mount to fit in the engine bay of a 2nd gen Tacoma, with 80 and 100 amp relays, and leads with crimps, I can throw that in my truck too. $150 is what I'm looking for from it. The fuse block also has the spot to connect the negatives as well.
