Yes, primarily I'm talking about the west side of the point.
It's been a popular spot to take in the views down valley forever, and used to allow jeep rd access to a old cabin a little further down.
I know the spot well, I got married there in 94' I've also pulled down another big private property sign a mile from the property line back in 2005.
That time it was winter access they tried to shut down.

The island of usfs land is a really cool old mining site. They have a gate and signs there too, clearly on usfs land.

Thanks for finding the cb news article

Yes, I'm using the assessor map as well as usfs maps and older USGS topos.
Every map shows the same placement of property lines.

Thank you for the reply and the links.
It's a complicated issue, but I am not able to accept closed public lands as the solution without a fight.

Maybe hit kebler pass to paonia, then back to hwy 50.
Farmers markets will be prime too.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

The main purpose of our trip is to see our youngest son. Stationed at Ft Carson. We'll be spending essentially 3 of the days near Colo Springs.

Is rock therapy a moab event?
Is the war-fab rig still a woman operated truck? My current rig is the wife's truck and would love to see her follow some other chicks up some trails
She's building skills and confidence little by little.

Rock Therapy is a Moab event.
The Warrig is primarily a female operated truck. You could say 100% female operated depending on your opinion of Mike.
Following that truck is not always the best idea, regardless of skills and confidence. Sometimes physics and geometry come into play as well.

I'd run spider. May be interested in fins. We ran that a few years back and there are others i need to see before repeating. I'm only big at the dinner table

Fins is just whatever in my book. I’m 37.5’ long so those ups and downs can get tedious. But I’m always down for poison spider.

I'm putting together my parts list for lifting the 3rd gen.

I've been putting in the research.
Ive got some experience with solid axle rigs, but ifs and coils are new to me.

As far as what works, and what doesn't..
    Am I missing anything here?
There are cheaper version of UCA, but SPC seems like it's hard to go wrong.
Goal is rock capable and hwy friendly compromise.
2.5 to 3 inches front and rear.
Carrying a rtt and some gear.
I'm stoked on the prices of wheelers off-road, first order discount and no sales tax is a 20% discount for me.

If you had 3k budgeted for lift, would you go in this direction?
Truck is the SR, so I saved $ upfront to spend after market.

The rear is all pro springs and their flip kit and brake lines.

Looks like I could do the same setup with bilstein 6100/5100 and save 500.00

    Website shows these in stock...
But I'm not sure if they really are

Know that if you get a flip kit you will need new rear bump stops
