I'm new to the truck world so bare with me if I sound like a noob..

I have a 2018, with 3inch lift and I have Black Rhino 17x9 0mm rims on 275/70/17. They had a paint issue so I had to swap them back out but the company I purchased them from only had 17x9 -12mm in stock. I figured it was only .5inch further out so it wouldn't be an issue. But now it rubs like crazy on the back inner wheel well of the right side.. Also had rubbing issues on this side with the 0mm but in a different spot on full lock.

If the company won't replace the -12 with another set of 0mm that they actually have up for sale now.. What are some solutions?

    Thanks

Do you have an aftermarket upper control arm? You could try to get an alignment to push the wheel forward.

Do you think I should upgrade uca or just try alignment without first and see if they can correct?

    Thanks!

In my opinion I like my wheels to look more OEM. Get some 4runner take off wheels. They are +15 offset so they still have more offset than stock. They are super cheap, you will probably make money after selling your current wheels. And you will have absolutely no rubbing.

UCA will def help alignment ability to push your caster even further, most people recommend them at or above 3inch lift, you can always try alignment first and go from there

I didn't really have issues with the set that were 0mm, they were just out of stock when sending replacements. I just didn't think the -12 would rub so bad..

I think I need to redo my CMC... it still rubs at times. the best thing to do is just reposition the cab mount all together. then you can run BIG wheels. ill get there eventually.
