None yet other then at around or over 500 torque ovtune says the trans begins some sort of slippage if my memory is correct...otherwise so far Matt has been beating the piss out of his tacoma more then anyone out there and he hasn't broken anything yet.

When you’re twin turboing a Tacoma, nothing is overkill lol.
Looks great..a true dual. Are those resonators or mufflers up front? And are you running and hangars besides the 2 in the back?

Only thing I would have changed is Vband the DP’s.

I'd recommend anyone using exhaust wrap to seal it with one of the offered silicone sprays. I always used DEI, it helps prevent moisture from the elements of weather from destroying the exhaust wrap.

Thanks! They are Vibrant ultra quiet resonators, straight through. Same as the Borla, straight through with an internal X pipe. I thought about the v band up front, but since the DP flange bolts to an engine block mount it keeps everything past it nice and tight. Everything sits at or higher than stock height, so with a v band up front and no solid mount I would have had to account for a bit more flex and more clearance. It’s a trade off. Yep, I still have the 2 hangers up front and one on the muffler to add. I’m adding a v band for the last section over the axle, which will be a PITA to fab.

That’s the idea! Should have a pretty unique tone.

If you guys are concerned about noise... I have stock TRD/stock exhaust and my truck is as quiet as my Corolla.
The only thing you hear is the turbos spooling. Which is the best noise.

Turbos are actually classified as mufflers. That's how the SRT4 legally has no muffler.

I don’t want it stock quiet, cruising yes. At WOT, definitely not. Plus, there’s SO much left on the table with all the stock exhaust restrictions.

Bilstein 6112/5160s. OME leaf springs. 285/75/16. RC tonneau cover. Supernova v3 led lows, highs, and fog lights. Kicker speaker upgrade.
I have a 3 inch mbrp cat back on currently that I am debating on taking off when turbos go on. I still have my stock exhaust. I guess I will see how it sounds with turbos and go from there.

if you want some exhaust noise don't use stock. I hear the clacking of my cylinder head drivetrain more than anything until you floor it.

Are the turbo tunes currently offered, compatible with the addition of a turbo controller...is the addition of a controller a non-issue or something those of us adding one will require a different tune?

I don’t think He’s got this quite figured out yet, reason I’m waiting to buy a boost controller. There was an idea kicked around some time back to repurpose some of the gas evap junk IO to add a boost controller. Would be awesome to have ECT on be high boost, ECT off low boost. We’ll see what Mat has planned, no telling what he would do if he had the time...

    That’s what I’m doing.
ECT ON= exhaust cutout activated(vacuum) + HIGH Boost mode (15psi) + the Better throttle response(software based in ECT)
    ECT OFF=muffler + LOW boost mode(gate 7psi)
