I did it with stock 30-inch tires two years ago and still have the same setup, Laurel Lakes is a simple trail for stock 4x4.

LOL. And I'm being nice about it. Imagine what would happen if I expressed how I really felt about 2wd on 4x4 trails? Or large groups on trails. Or thinking about a "small" fire during a fire ban. Other then that I hope they have a great time. lol

I see his point, but after being up there many times and seeing the side by sides and dirt bikes tear ruts into the trail I don't feel guilty about being a few 2WD guys with us. The only section where the 2WD guys were spinn spinning their wheels a bit was right about here.....

So because other people are assholes it's OK for you to be an asshole as well? That attitude is everything that is wrong with a lot of the off-road community today. When you put a trip together you lead by example. Your example is terrible. Think about that for a second.

God help any 4wd operator if I see their tires slip even once, I shall unleash the full fury of CORVA, BLM, Feinstein & Boxer on them. Let's leave the purse swinging name calling for the turd gen section. Just because you don't agree with something doesn't make you any more, or less, correct then them. That's as close to an acknowledgement to this topic as I'm going to grant you.

Using an off road trail on a side by side or dirt bike is being an asshole? Ok lol. I was merely trying to point out that the trail is open to all kinds of off roading including dirt bikes which tear the trails up the most. This is not a designated Jeep trail, its open for anyone who has an off road rig that's capable. Nobody is purposely doing burnouts or being an asshole on the trail like you are making it seem.

Well I feel a lot better about the smoke situation now, a few fires just broke out up in my area and now we are all smoked out too haha.

I wouldnt waste your time bringing any firewood. Winds expected at 7-11mph and a heat wave this weekend so Id say its safe to say at this point we wont be having a campfire unless someone has a portable gas one.

"Near record high temps" :bananadead: weather.com says high 80's. No gas fire pit here. Maybe a lantern will be enough to gather around &

Were you on a roller coaster?!

Only cuz 1 front tire was hanging off the hairpin cliff & my rear tires couldn't pull it back up. #listentoyourspotters. The good news? My 2wd truck didn't slow down a single group on the trail, matter of fact I was waiting on some 4x guys to get out of my way :turtleride:

Same here, about 2am, then back around 8am to get enough work done to leave around lunch time without feeling too guilty

I should be there about sunset as well coming from South Bay LA (Torrance).
