So long as you don't trade the cruiser for an X5.

The cruiser is going nowhere, that thing is my favorite in my fleet, I wanted one well before I ever got my first taco haha. My grandfather has a 2008 X5, it's kind of a turd, still runs okay but it seems to require a mandatory sacrifice of 2k every time it requests service (it requests on its own to BMW). Only X vehicle I have any interest in is the X3 M4.0i, 600awhp in a light suv thingy is pretty neat.

Zee Germans make a good daily, love my R and it's nice having a more "refined" car for commuting and the truck for offroading and camping

They seem like great vehicles to drive, but I've heard so many mixed messages on reliability and repairability that I shy away.

This one has been owned and maintained by my buddy with the 2017 M3, when you compare the two.... yeah I wouldn't touch the M3 with a 10 foot pole. The M135i appealed to me because it is still pretty end user serviceable, minus the DCT. It may or may not be reliable, couldn't say. But the parts are there and they aren't an arm and a leg compared to a real M car.

Fucking tell me about it ordered amotor mount from AutoZone 4 days ago said it would be here 3 days ago now they re ordered it

Than with O'Reilly's I have 2 of their cheap grade cvs that I want to turn in for store credit toward the new "extended travel" cvs (just curious as to what they come up with)

But no one has them and they need to email corporate or some shit for availability so I'm also going to wait a year for that

Meh my dad's 09 528i isnt hard to work on

Than again it isn't a performance package and has a naturally aspirated i6

It was unreliable at first because the machanic we took to poked holes in seals, did half the job and stole parts to put on his identical car
