    Pros:
    1. look awesome
    2. Deep dish
    3. Old school/classic vibe
    4. Aggressive stance

    Cons:
    1. Cutting and trimming may be the price you have to pay to roll in style
    2. Rock chips on and around the rocker panels are a real problem when doing even mild offroading or quite frankly just carting around town.

I took my truck offroad for about 30 miles last weekend in the mountains. The terrain was mild, but plenty of rocks. I have a few chips around my rocker panels and thats with 3 sets of modified plasticolor mud flaps for protection. I mounted them much higher than normal so they are protecting the paint slightly more than drivers behind me -- but it was a compromise-- something is better than nothing and with this much negative offset and 265s mud flaps are pretty much a no-go. I was determined to get something on there eventhough I hate the look.

Front (Really had to hack these to not rub tires near the cab mount)
    20200828_162117.jpg

    Rear (no cutting at all)
    20200828_162216.jpg

Splitters (not sure if these are serving a purpose, but I added them in the front of the rear wheels anyway).

Being as I have a black truck these are not noticable and dont take away from the looks too much. It's a compromise between aesthetics and function. I ran -19 offset on my first gen for 16 years with factory mudflaps -- no issues. Then I removed the rears when some of the bolts rusted out and this is what happened in short order (2 years)
    20200828_163728.jpg
So speaking from experience them flaps serve to protect your paint with negative offset. My 96 has no poke and no rust on the fenders. Albeit I have SRs and none have flares.

I didn't cut anything on my truck, only minor massaging of the fender liners. I still have occasional rub in reverse at near lock (drivers side only). I'm waiting to see if I want to trim the tab on the front bumper or just live with it.

A good alignment tech could alleviate most if not all rubbing issues. The reputable tire shop I took my truck to wound up chipping all four of my wheels (minor) on the balancing cone. They didn't charge me for the job and I wasn't about to ask them to mess with the alignment-- I just cut my losses and figured out what needed to be adjusted on my own.

If your on the fence nd an aggressive stance is what your going for, I would say you'll wind up being disappointed if you dont get the -25mm

Every taco is different. With any luck you wont have to do anything -- but I wouldn't bank on it.

If the wheel size is a 16 (265/75/16) then you're looking at approx a 32 inch tire

No pics of the rock chips. I took care of them pretty quick. Sorry. They were minor -- but little things turn into bigger issues when not addressed quickly.

Imo these are the best wheels for any gen Tacoma hands down.
    Super Lightweight
Simple design (much like the stock steelies)
No hub rings -- direct bolt on application
Nice colors -- the bronze is awesome.

    3rd gen.

2nd gen is the only taco that isnt in my driveway. I have 2 first gens -- 1 with a rotted frame I'm going to be fixing soon.

This was my inspo to go for gunmetal over jet black. I'm sure jet black looks awesome in person but in photos there isn't a strong distinction between the wheel and tire.

    Great looking runner!!

Apologies if this has been covered - but is there a Canadian SCS distributor?

Anyone hear about SCS possibly adding another 5 spoke design to their lineup? My son told me about this yesterday. I feel like they would be hard pressed to beat the simplicity and aesthetics of this F5 design. So nice...

I had the BR6’s on my AG 4runner Pro. Was not feeling it how it looked. Sold them and now I have a brand new set F5’s waiting to go on. I’m holding off till the black 17x8.5 come back in stock. Still debating to add the bronze or black.29068EFB-FA13-49CC-9A39-F9F52419307B.jpg
