Wow, I'm on a roll with Livermore Toyota. So, they tell me yesterday they have CV boot kits to replace my old ones on the front axle as they are coming off to replace leaking outer front dif seals. OK, do it. Then at 2 pm yesterday I get a call saying oops, we only had one set. Have to keep the truck overnight. They give me a loaner, telling me truck will be ready by noon today. Noon goes by, no call. I call service dept at 1245. My service guy is out today. We'll leave you number with the next available service advisor. 45 minutes gone by. No call. So, I call and ask for Service Manager. Of course, he's not in his office. Leave a message. Another 30 minutes has gone by. I call again. Phone chick says I'll have someone call you. I say, no, that's unacceptable, I need to know the status of my truck right now. I've been waiting over 45 minutes for information. She says I can put you through to the Service Manager, I say I already left a message for him, is he in now? No answer, she's already transferred me. WTF, Livermore Toyota, WTF?

I'd just start repeatedly calling and leaving messages. Over and over and over and over and over and over again.............
    But I'm petty af.

I hope your dealership woes calm down a bit Don; life's too short to put up with bullshit like this.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Livermore is starting to sound like Ammaar's Toyota of Vacaville. Shit service or customer relations.

Interesting addendum. Service Manager I'm dealing with is Mike Botelho. Don't recognize those other names. As far as I know he's been the only Service Manager there for the month of August, as I've been dealing with him since my transmission was replaced 4 weeks ago.

Pull your rear axle apart yourself. Get the rear diff over to a shop and if you have a bent axle shaft, I have a tool that you can use to press out the bent one and press in the nice one.

Finally got my truck back. Waited three hours for the update. And they didn’t do the last thing I asked. I told them if any of the old cv boots were in decent shaped I’d take them for spares. Oh well, fuck it. There are better options for that.

Hey, spotted on my way home. McArthur in San Leandro.

It really isn't. It's only a few hours to pull the axles and third members out.

If that. There's not much to it at all. The hardest part is not damaging the ARB copper line and not dropping the diff on your face when your doing it. A small transmission jack comes in real handy for that.

I think I used a floor jack back when I replaced my rear axle seals. I have a transmission jack now, but I guess either would work.

Yep. I did it with my floor jack the first time I installed my diff too. The trans jack is so much nicer and safer. lol
