haha I carry a portable power pack with jumper cables for that just in case situation plus it has a 400w inverter built in and a useless air compressor.

 

don't you have the 400w inverter built in with the bed outlet?

 

Yeah but I'd be hesitant about using it with the truck off for extended periods. Not that that the power pack has all that much juice I'd rather just run it dead than the truck battery.

Yeah i would just go with the bigger alternator. Trying to charge 2 batteries would take awhile.

 

well see, the problem is that i tend to do things that consume a lot of power when my engine is off. so probably the green machine alternator and a dual battery setup would be best......but like everything else, costly. just gotta save up for it.
