Noticed my truck leaning a little. I thought it was just the way the driveway sits, but then I measured the wheel wells and the left side is an inch lower than the right. Would the taco lean be fixed under warranty?

To give you a serious answer, no, it would not be fixed under warranty. These trucks have been like this since the dawn of man, which is why there's even the term "taco lean" for it. The dealer would do nothing for you, because there's nothing to be done unfortunately.

I started picking up big girls. Balanced it out for me. There are other perks too.

Why do you think this is unexpected or why is it a problem for you? Mine’s off by a inch last i checked but I can’t tell the difference without a tape measure.

I've done quite a bit of research on this. Not only is this completely normal for Tacomas, it's a common issue amongst other mid-sized pickups as well.

This has probably been discussed to death on this forum, but assuming the lean is due to uneven wait distribution is there a good reason Toyota put the gas tank and battery on the driver’s side?

2016 93k miles . An ome lift fixed mine 60k ago . It may have to do with the swing out spare mount hanging to the right though . If mine was leaning slightly it wouldn’t bother me much . Toyota did do a leaf spring recall maybe he’s affected guys? I’d give it a shot op . If it bugs you it may not hurt to ask .
