    Nice work.
    Just picked up an assorted bag of those exact terminals a couple weeks ago. Didn't know they existed until I bumped into them chasing down some 3M heat shrink with sealant. Don't have an immediate need for them, but I damn sure bought on sight. :thumbsup:

    I really like this set up!
    I guess that is what I was looking for all this time, a manifold. And is a great inexpensive way to convert to OBA while also having the ability to add a tank in future.

    Now where to mount my compressor...

    @tonered thanks for this thread, I found it through that other thread. I've got a 300P, and I'm debating getting an 88 or using the 300P for an OBA setup. Need to see if I can mount it under the hood.
    Great info here, more to add to my mod research effort this weekend.

    IMHO after using my 300P for airing up, I would stick with it over an 88P for the CFMs. Those last couple PSI take a while.

    Also, be sure to check out @Shellshock 's deflator / inflator setup. It makes airing down and up really easy and costs not too much more than a set of deflation adapters.

    That's kind of what I was thinking since I'm sure the loss of push from going down to the 88 would offset the space savings. I just need to figure out a mount for the 300 in the engine compartment.

    You could save a lot of space by ditching the foot plate. In fact, something like the Viair Hardmounts might be the better way to go?

    I'll take a look at that. I was starting to consider how to remove the baseplate and work up a mount or seeing if the Slee mount could work.

    This is all great information, curious will this work on a 400P? The pricing is kinda whack right now, 300P is like 187, 400P is 205 but the automatic is 299. Am I just right to just suck it up and go up to the 400P auto? At that range I'm entering ARB single territory though...

    The mod for the non-automatic 400P would be the same as the 300P, or just about any Viair that is running off high current. It has held up very well, esp as it is always in my Taco.

    I would agree that the the non-automatic 400P is in a sweet spot there and would jump on it. But like I said above, the automatic mod is pretty cheap (relay, pressure switch, and tee), if you already have the tools and connectors. If you don't, you'll likely be into the mod for about $100 anyway.

    Just the thing that the air hose and connector that comes with the Viair kinda sucks, esp compared to typical pneumatic stuff that folks might have or built, like @Shellshock 's DIY kit:


    You need an automatic Viair (actual or modded) to use it.

    Yup! I plan to build out Shellshock's dual inflator, pretty nice setup. I just reread and felt stupid as you mentioned this'll work on all the Viairs. I somehow glossed over that. As for tools, pretty sure I've got everythign I need sans say the clamptite system, but that's a twofer since I'm gonna be building Shellshock's setup anyways. Agreed that the non-auto 400P sits at a very tempting spot.

    Good stuff! I do like the wire clamps since they are low profile and smooth, so they never catch on anything. Just takes a bit of practice to learn.

    I think it was somewhere in this thread or @Shellshock 's that someone made one out of a turnbuckle.
