Swapped out the red and black TRD off-road badges for the all black ones. Debated on these, because it is hard to see the writing. But I like it, that it matches all the other blacked out emblems.

I like those all blacked out like that. If I we're to add those then I would probably end up removing the lower badge underneath it.

I did something similar today and removed the factory black/red bed sticker and replaced them with all black (matte) vinyl decals. I know a lot of guys remove these completely, and I thought about leaving it all clean once I removed the originals, but I don't mind the bed decals.

I’m with ya.... I like the bed decals. Love the all black you did as well. I have seen several people remove the lower Tacoma emblem. I do think that gives it a much cleaner look. I will probably get around to doing that myself soon

Better be ready to cough up for a new one. I'm not even sure you can order an OEM from the dealer. I looked high and low for an OEM one, and had no luck. Luckily, aftermarket one has worked wonders. It sucks to pay for one out of pocket. But some do those "finance" offers from Affirm (as an example). They charge a huge interest rate, but it allows you to get a new one and make monthly payments over time. And they usually don't require any money down.

Paypal credit would probably be a better option than affirm.

    You might try

    or

    https://www.ebay.com/i/222576529089...H4XS8aJzBHvWi4tpp5yZjEP2bQLibcbhoC7FsQAvD_BwE

I haven't used either of them (my bed goes bare), but I've used similar items to patch pond liners, rubberized containment structures, my boots...

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
The mirror cover does peel back like an onion but I suggest doing it during the day when the plastic is warm. Also, if you have some plastic door panel pry tools you could use them to encourage the separation.

I believe they are for the OEM Tonneau cover but I looked at other options for it a while back and believe the screw size was an M6. Others may know the true purpose though...
