Got a P303 narrowed down to a bad injector. Usually I try to go with genuine factory parts, but it looks like they're gonna run me about $250 a piece :/ Would like to hear y'alls experiences with some of the cheaper aftermarket stuff. I'd like to do all four at the same time, but not feeling the 1K bill for something so simple. Is there a preferred brand or type I should be looking for?

Try toyotapartsdeal.com or a local recycling yard.

Intermotor seems to be the real deal. I got mine from rockauto.

If they're less than $50 per injector, they're probably counterfeit.

You could try having them rebuilt by motor west,

Cost me 125.00 total to have my OEM injectors cleaned and serviced.

    They also sell replacement injectors.

After my injectors were serviced my mpg went from 18 mpg to 22 mpg and a lot more power from 3k up

I've recently had a bad no-name Napa brand injector fail out of box.

It was on a 3.4 5vz and it made me question my entire diagnoses. Was really stressful and finally realized I was installing crap.

    Oem or Denso.

I hadn't heard of this and I'm intrigued. Looks like hundred bucks would have me a matched set.

Yeah, this has been my experience as well. I like NAPA but I've bought brake pads that were swapped with counterfeits by someone who probably returned them as unused. Denso's never failed me. I'm the same way about buying OEM. I do my own work and don't have time to screw around with crap parts.

I used Motor West Performance, as a number of others did here.

    https://motorwestperformance.com/

they are Denso reman (OEM) and make the truck run really smooth.

my 1st set were Amazon and we’re counterfeits, pieces of the injector breaking off in the intake and false starts.

    Bottom injector is OEM Denso

    I would second this.

I just installed remaned Denso injectors from Motorwest this weekend. So far they're working very well.

I was going to post a link to the thread about counterfeit injectors, but the consensus there is the same as here:

    Motorwest reman'd injectors.

I really should just save the link to that thread of yours to post instead of tagging you all the time lol

long story short - counterfeit injectors are all over the place, be careful

Yes, that’s how I found out I had punk-ass injectors
