    Hello,

We love to camp when we ride our dirtbikes and I had a Chevy Silverado before with a truck tent and the double air mattress fit perfectly.

So, campers...will my old truck tent fit my new 2011 AC Taco? Also, what's the optimal size air mattress that'll fit? I'm thinking the double will be too big for the smaller size bed.

    Eileen,

These are not inexpensive but you may be interested in knowing about them regardless.

the silverado's width between wheel wells is 50.6"
Tacoma's width between wheel wells is 56.7"

seems kinda strange being the silverado is a full size.

can someone verify this? I got the specs from Chevy.com and Toyota.com

i have a truck tent left from my 99 mazda b2500 ... i upgraded to a t100 which the bed is probably only slightly shorter than a silverado ... ill go measure it vs my dads 98 silvy xcab ... but do you maybe want to trade? Mine has a broken pole but is otherwise fine
