What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Thumbs Up for taping off the plastics, I do the same thing, haven't waxed or polished the Tacoma yet but always did it with my FJ.

Definitely not fun installing by yourself without a lift and with a beer gut! Not that I would know.


That said it's well worth the effort when it comes time for future oil changes.

 

Thanks for the suggestions, I appreciate it. I ordered a few of the ebay patch repair kits. It will be a little ugly but better than tape. It sucks that I can't seem to buy that one panel of even that section of the cover.

 

Did you have to do any trimming for the light bar? What brackets did you use?

One of my fog lights was out so I replaced both fogs and headlights with 6000k LEDs. I vast improvement!!

What’s hard to read about this? He was mad that his headlight died so he euthanized his pups and got new ones.

Or was it emotionally hard to accept?

 

I believe you can install spring helpers backwards - I read about this in the 1st gen forum. That may be a cheap, easy fix.
