I finally got some tires on the way. The guy at Discount Tire said a lot of different tires are on backorder since many of the factories shut down for the 'rona. I wasn't able to get the Cooper Evolution MT's I wanted (B/O until Oct), but got a discount on some STT Pro's ($225/ea). After rebates, it'll be a pretty good deal. Hoping to get them installed Friday or Saturday.

Nah, just popping in as i have found a second of free time. Been keeping busy enough during my working hours that i try to stay away from my computer when im off work.

Ive also been cutting/clearing trees out at my moms house once a week for about a month now. Started out with a ryobi pole saw and sawsall but then i got tired of that after a couple trips and went and bought a 24" bar chainsaw. And with that saw i was able to finally cut down a couple trees that had been dead for a while and were about to fall onto the road.

We will be having a large bonfire when the weather cools off.

 

They are great tires but they are loud!

 

I’m very interested in your opinion on those tires. I’ll be needing a new set in a few months.

My current Hankooks got REALLY loud lately, so I'm sure the new tires will be some kind of improvement. Traction in the rain yesterday and this morning has also been pretty bad, but we're down in the "red" on the tire tread gauge now.

Hell, even those had limited availability. He said the Cooper warehouse in DFW didn't have them and he'd have to pull from a few different stores. Maybe he pulled one over on me, but STT Pro was probably the best tire available for the price I wanted to pay.

 

I put a set on the Jeep, got a sweet deal for 33x12.5's. Even when they get low on tread, they're not too loud. Be careful on your current ones in the rain.
