This is my first Tacoma and since I picked it up a couple of weeks ago I have felt tightness in my hamstrings. Has anyone else experienced similar type of discomfort. It’s not while driving but rather the following day.

Your condition is called NTPT (new tacoma purchase tightness). I recommend just relax, not worry about crashing, and enjoy it. A trip to the gym might help too. Welcome to our world.

Look for seat risers. Some of us insert washers or spacers under the rear mounts of the seats, lifts about 1 inch and new longer bolts are needed.
New hardware will run about 15 bucks for both passenger and driver seat.

You referring to the seating position casing this? So many people complain about this. I find it comfortable however. Your hammies will eventually get used to it lol. :D

Thanks for having a sense of humor. I agree the seats in these are a little short. I'm 63 but in the gym 3 days a week and stretching helps...alot. Good luck and hope to see ya around here.

I feel your pain, brother. I get tenderness in my right shoulder every time that I take my TRD Sport off-road. Maybe it’s from all the cranking of the come-along but I’ve been switching arms and the pain continues. Maybe my truck is trying to tell me that it isn’t an off-road so don’t force it to be. :notsure:
