    Not sure what is wrong with 3rd gens. I love mine. Added a few decals to the window a while back but forgot to post the pic.8080FB55-669F-444E-AD55-E2709D2E850E.jpg

    Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
    Today, "maintenance required" message on the console and "!" light is solid on. I'm way ahead of the maintenance schedule. The infinite wisdom that is TW says there's a menu option to reset it. We shall see.

    Nice job! How did you end up getting the stickers in there? I have a few, but I'm hesitant to install because of my fat fingers. :annoyed:

    I screwed up my first attempt, and then grabbed a pair of very long needle nose forceps. It wasn’t as difficult after that. Used a combination of forceps and flat blade screw driver to place and push them to the glass.

    There's one in there somewhere. I pressed so many buttons on my steering wheel trying to find the reset that I couldn't tell you where it is. Without looking, that information has to be in the owners manual.

    It amuses me that for every vehicle or piece of equipment I've bought "pre-owned", whenever I ask about manuals I always get just a blank stare.

    Yes, I got the entire dead-tree edition of every manual that would have come with the Taco when new. Not sure why... If I'm desperate, I refer to the .pdf.

    Not over complicated when you cant lift a kayak past your waist due to spinal damage (me) and you want to still be able to put things in the bed along with the kayaks.

    Amen to that!
    L5, L4, L3, L2 and a spinal fluid leak. :anonymous:

    Stay well! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

    I just use my Darby but that eliminates utilizing the bed for anything else so that doesn't resolve your issue. Maybe a manual hoist on each side. Don't remember where I've seen it but there's one out there. Would be a lot less complicated and cheaper. Definitely not as cool though.

    Don't do it ! We live in troubling times and that picture might get you in hot water. :)

    But, in an effort at some levity, and to keep us on the mod path, I am pleased to report that I found a mod so simple that even I was able to accomplish it in less than 60 seconds!

    You see, there was a hole in the opening on my OEM trailer hitch. I searched the Internet and found the Toyota OEM Receiver Tube Hitch Plug. Tow Hitch. Part Number: PT22835960HP). You simply open the package and slide it in and voila ...

    So easy, even I could do it.

    Mine was stolen.
    I wouldn’t have been as angry about it if I didn’t color match the emblem and the TOYOTA to the body. I bought another, bot need to rig up some sort of anti-theft
