    Hello TW!

So I recently installed a front camera along with an Anytime Backup Camera. I bought the whole kit from Runnin4Tacos. Appears to be the Nakita backup camera that is commonly used for this application. However, as installed right below "Toyota" on my pro grill makes the camera aimed down way too far. Basically half of the screen is taken up by the bumper. This camera is the type with the thread that goes through the grill and the nut tightens on the back. Does anyone have any ideas for how to angle the camera up?

Weird. That's where I mounted mine and it seems perfect.

Can you loosen the nut and shim the back side of the camera?

The Nakita camera came with adjusting shims, in the box when new, this is something you will have to experiment with.

Mine didn't come with them... I saw that on the Amazon page as well but mine didn't include.

    Maybe I'm just picky...

After looking at the pictures, it seems the shims are actually for adjusting the camera the opposite way that I would need to adjust it.

Contact the manufacturer of the camera they would be the best person to get advice from . Take pictures so they can guide you on a resolution .

The Mfg for the Nakita cam has top tier customer service, I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out. I got quite the heartfelt response from them right as Covid was kicking off here in the US(they are China based). Lovely people.
