Not today but got JBA upper control arms installed. Seriously increased my handling and the ride is better overall. And no more coil rubbing!

Looks awesome! some UCAs are next up on my list, pretty sure i'm going with the JBAs. Curious as to how your handling increased, or rather what is the difference between before and after? Also glad to hear ride improved as it feels like i'm beating the tar out of my truck every time i hit a washboard road!

    thx in advance

Other than being a job that takes alot of time, how hard is it to wrap the vehicle and how much is it costing you?

I was fortunate to get the wrap at no cost. But the roll was about $600. I bought a heat gun and some wrapping tools. the flat parts are easy and the doors and front fender took about 30 min each. The first couple panels took longer. I completely taught myself how to do this as I went along. There are lots of parts I wish I was able to do over but it is still better than the paint was. All In was about $700 (including the cost of my free roll of wrap)

I think it was a couple of factors. First off, being the stock control arms on 364,000miles, the bushings were not in the greatest shape, So I assume there was a little bit of sloppy-ness coming from worn bushings.
Next, with a level kit on my truck, you can see how the steering knuckle arm, which connects to the upper ball joint with the stock UCAs, is at significantly more dramatic of an angle with the stock UCAs. Now with the JBAs, that arm sits more “straight” up and down. Taking highway curves through the mountains, I feel like my trucks body does less ‘dipping’ or has less body roll. Now I need to upgrade suspension all around and Hopefully be rid of any and all weebles and wobbles at 70mph

A set of Kings shocks up front is the fix for that washboard and feeling like the truck is going to jump off the road when unhit a pot hole at speed,
I have very little body roll and excellent handling now with kings up front and 5100s in the back

they're on the list. actually thinking of going with ADS but i've not entirely made up my mind yet. planning on waiting till i do a LT kit though so who knows when that's actually gonna happen. for now i'm relatively happy with my OMEs and Toytec springs, figure i'll give them another couple years/30k miles before I do any serious looking at new shocks.

Night and day difference after I installed this setup on my truck. Hitting a pothole is no big deal anymore, and no body roll anymore or very little even going around corners at speed anymore

What did you use to clean it? Mine becomes caked with dust very quickly with all the overlanding I do here in California and Nevada in the summer.

Back when I had the aFe Pro Dry I would just use watered down Simple Green spray and run the sink water through it till it ran clear, let it dry then put it back in. They also sell some kind of solution to clean it too.

Got rid of it though because like others, I noticed a lot of dust in the intake after the filter when I ran that one. I only use the paper filters now

Yes so do I. What do you use with the paper filter to clean it?

The paper filters aren't reusable...they get dirty and get thrown away.

Although I have been known to beat mine against my tire on occasion to clear out the heavy dust after an offroad trip

awesome! out of curiosity, was that coming from stock suspension, or a lesser aftermarket setup?
