Yeah, the deck is pretty awesome and its a huge house compared to what I'm used to. I still want to build but can't really afford it with what materiel prices are and how in demand builders are right now. Maybe a few more years. I have some friends that live in Tega Cay and its a nice area

My dad is a builder, was saying he paid 4 times normal price for OSB the other day.....shit is crazy.

Cool, like I said I was a little intimidated by it originally, used to the gravity fed type "concrete box that you shit in" as @SearArtist so eloquently put it, but after doing some reading they seem pretty solid.

 

Markets are so complicated. I have no idea what's going to happen.

Yeah things are changing with a lot of that stuff.

I can respect that too. It just seems likely with like a house that would be built at $100 sqft with material costs going through the roof it's now $200 it prices people out and others that need to sell or short sell the market got driven higher potentially and with the jobs situation these days. Idk I may be looking at it too much or something. Just feels like we are headed towards a storm of sorts with this. My sis and BIL are probably going to have to sell their house because of my sis loosing her job.

Oh yeah neither am I but from I just read they are targeted to blow their money on frivolous things because of more disposable income.
