What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Just did them both and the rear. Added a JL stealthbox and it sounds so damn good!!!! Enjoy the install. Pretty good videos online to watch how exactly

 

I would think you could accomplish the same thing with a small winch in the bed instead of the big swing arm, although you may need something to run the length of the kayaks to keep them stable.

 

I'm OK with getting them in and out of the bed. If I were to go on an overhead rack I might come up with something to make it easier. I'm pretty careful for the most part when it comes to lifting and knowing my limitations. Trust me messing up your back like that twice in ones life is not an option.

 

Thanks for sharing, sir. I might go that route. I was thinking of filling it in with some liquid silicone rubber. Then, wrap some blue hockey tape or electric tape around it.

 

Should i be worried about this. I have the TRD Intake and the oiled filter (yellow oil) is coming off the filter into the filter housing. Ive been runing this for about 2000 miles. I even made sure to make sure it was as dry as possible when it was new. Threw back in my OEM paper filter for now but that kinda defeats the purpose lf my imaginary power gain

i guess any oiled filter would do this im assuming

Got my other LED lights into today to replace the High beam portion. Again goal was better visibility for the very dark nights here in Northern Thailand. I have to watch out for Elephants ya know ( That is no joke )

Mission was to stay as close to 6000k Color point for all lights. My Piaa HID lights are 6000k.





Lights as received. Philips puts those big heat sinks on the back and I checked after running for awhile and those get quite hot. I like the additional cord length. Makes for easy installation.



Factory HID and the Yellow halogen high beam. Honestly when I hit high beam before I noticed virtually nothing.



Philips LED lights in and all lights on. Will do a test run tonight. I didn't do a bunch of before and after light tests and its clear the lighting will be significantly brighter

 

LOL Are those the ones you have to heat up to shrink fit like the plastic on boxes LOL just kidding they look good I need a set
