seller here seems flakey, not a good business move plus the claims they sold cheaper quality grills they didn’t actually make. I bought mine through someone else after reading through the responses here

Just ordered a fully blacked out one on Monday 8/24. I received tracking info on 8/27, and it shipped on the 30th. Should get it 9/9. Will post Images/Install when received.

Received mine today. Looks good, but wish I would have just spent the extra $100 for an OEM like my old one. Don’t like all the rough cuts and plastic burrs.

The best deal I could find on a OEM was $390 before tax.. $240 more. I guess maybe e bay has some cheaper? Didn't check there tbh

I got my faux grill for $99 shipped. You can't tell the difference between an OEM and aftermarket once it's installed. I'll take a $200 savings any day.

I will still be able to see shit like this when it’s installed. Guess it will just look like a beat up OEM.

Well your initial post stated "it looks good", based on that picture, it doesn't look good. You should call Taco Garage and request a new one, good luck though from what I hear they take forever to respond and even longer to deliver their products.
This thread is the reason I bought mine elsewhere.

It’s looks like a good cheap repop. Definitely doesn’t look as good as OEM. I noticed the differences as soon as I started pulling it out of the box. I’m also pretty ocd about details. I just expected more the way people talk these up.

The one I got, not from Taco Garage was pretty damn good, especially for $99. Though having never physically dealt with an OEM Pro Grill I had nothing to compare it with. Ultimately it's just a cosmetic change, so money saved is well worth it to me.

You definitely got a bad one out of the batch. I would definitely contact Fresh Mexican about that and see what he'll do about making good on it, he's good about fixing issues like this. I bought one from him about a year ago and it was gorgeous out of the box, no mold defects or anything, definitely on par with an OEM pro grill except for it being a matte finish instead (which I preferred anyways).

Mine came from taco garage, the actual grill part I didnt notice any issues, though the plastic was a bit 'rough' around some of the edges. Now the aftermarket garnish on the other hand.... that came with scratches and clear imperfections :(. I did contact them and he sent out a replacement, however that one was worse then the one that came originally, so I just kept the one it came with. From 5-10' you can't see it, but I am a bit disappointed. for the money difference, I'm still glad I got this one.

Mine has a small warp but only noticeable if you really look for it. Otherwise, I’ve been driving around with the grill and sensor for 5 months and no issues.

I might have Ponied up more $$ if I would've found a OEM grill sub $350. Didnt see any so I went with TG. For the price, I'm happy with it. But everyone has different standards. As long as we all agree, PRO / heritage grill is a a p.damn good looking.

Any plans for a 2020 TRD Pro grille for those that have the multi-terrain view camera? I'd love a non-OEM option.
