All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

If you are talking about the webbing/straps that run from front to back between the poles, they come on the newer habitats. I wouldn't mind installing some, but i'm more of a follow someone's instructions, not figure it out yourself kinda guy, lol.

Should they have, just a random new feature. they seem to make small changes regularly. Or are you saying they no longer have them on the latest Habitats?

That would be awesome. Let us know! I'd love it if they could just sell the kit or something with some instructions if it was useful.

Literally just looks like webbing straps with #6 screws.

I didnt have any issues with the wind on my old thicker tent.. Is it an issue on the newer ones?

I believe they are more likely the large rivets used you see holding some of the materials together inside the Habitat.

They are rivets. The same ones that are on the poles

You mean just the lil ones with like an 8th inch flare? I figured they'd be the big ones that are like 1/2 inch

I’m pretty sure they are all the tiny ones. I’d have to go look.

If they are just the small ones, i guess i have what I need (other than 50 feet of webbing, lol). I was just worried a normal small rivet would pull through the webbing material. If you get a chance to do close ups where they attach, I'd be quite grateful! No hurry at all, not like I would do that project before I leave on our trip tonight!

I’ll take a look next time i have it open.

I’ve had mine in some pretty nasty winds and havent had any issues. The only complaint i have is the stupid zippers that are on the tent to attach the support poles go TINK TINK TINK TINK against them pole. I need to tape them down or something.

Common fix for that is using heat shrink over them

I don't think i've ever noticed our zippers doing that... just the fabric slapping around making noise.

I hate the zippers for other reasons... like the ones on the side openings, that open completely. Half the time they don't zip correctly and pull apart. Crappy cheap zippers. I now understand why some products advertise they use only YKK zippers...
