1st tire rotation on a tacoma- where to use floor jack and stands safely?

Oh the plate says "TACOAZL" AZL for AZUL or blue. LOL, most people out here think I sell tacos in Arizona or something.

 

some awesome comments! my 4x4 patriot which is considered AWD, i rotate fronts to back, backs to crossed fronts. i think that causes more issues with vibrations etc though i don't have any yet on her. my thought is if a tire is used to spinning one way and it's smooth, you may upset it if you now make it spin the other way after a rotation. it seems that my xterra, which is same side front/back only, never has any issues with vibes after rotations and she has huge duratracs on her. I had to laugh, when i first got the tires, they vibed and discount tire said it's normal as they are an agrressive tire. my white hairy ass. took it to blacks tire, they found 2 out of round tires. After 2 shipments, discoutn tire found 2 more good ones and i have been golden ever since. nessie is smooth up to 79mph- i don't go faster because of legal reasons.

Just making a generalized comment. Sorry, Not “ quoting” anyone....Tire rotations in the north are most often included in the winter changeover. Most snow tire packages include not only the free rotation, but balance check and inspection. We get real lazy because of it.
So much so, I got rid of my compressor etc.

 

I just jack up the entire side at a centered location on the frame, switch front to back while on the Jack, and lower. Repeat other side.

 

Did the same when I was rotating mine. The only difference was, I put two jack stands under the frame on each end for safety. Doesn’t take much additional time.

Is that forward jack point a donut looking piece at the rear of the skid plate?
First time for me using a floor jack.

Probably worth it if you do enough of your own maintenance or have other project vehicles, I'd love something like this when i get back stateside and have a real garage.
