    Hi all, thinking about switching from a 285/70/17 to a 285/75/17, I have not regeared yet and I can already tell from going to a 33in tire, my truck is constantly searching for gears on highway driving especially, will it be much worse by going up in size to a 34?

    Weird I run 285s my auto doesn’t search for gears at all. I’d imagine it will be slightly worse.

    Its mostly highway driving, I drive from tempe , AZ to Huntington Beach quite often and I can’t even use cruise control at all

    Yeah, IDK man. I use cruise just fine on the interstate. If it wasn't my daily, I'd consider going to the 285/75.

    Is really hilly on that drive. I run 285/70/17 and in cruise I can 75-85 zero issues.

    I couldn't do it.
    Born, Raised, and still live in the swamps south of New Orleans.
    Spend some time working in the deserts of West Texas. That's just too far from water and fishing for me.

    Get with @ZUK gearinstalls.com and get geared. The xtra lbs per tire and that little bit of height will make your transmission issue worse.
