    So what I just changed did nothing? Or is it doing what I think it is... "turning up the pedal commander"? Am I screwing around with the wrong stuff for the outcome I'm looking for? If so, please let me know, I'll just wait for the performance tunes because I CLEARLY HAVE NO IDEA WTF I'M DOING :)

    What is the most appropriate way for such request? A ticket? I have p5f files and would like the vft files in order to increase AGM voltage.

    Thank you

    ok. so now that I started to read through all this thread, i see this... if i already did the individual gears via throttle management... did it affect the accelerator map already? do i have to reset the throttle management to what was in there before i do the accelerator?

    Did you find those tunes too sensitive yourself as well? I feel like even if its twice as touchy as some current offerings are, It would still be some fun.

    @OVTune

    Ok. One more question for tonight. If i modify my VFT tune and save it... can i ever get the original back? redownload the zip file or something? or do i need to record all my changes so i can revert back to what you gave us as a "starter" file.

    Modifying the 2D tables is an effective way to make gear dependent throttle changes.

    We modify the 3D global, that affects in " general "

    Before you start tuning, take the tune you want to tune and “export” it as a different name. Then tweak that file. Then you don’t lose the original.

    So let's say I was to naive to ask that question prior to saving changes... Can I somehow get the original back? If not, I did write the values down. And now I know to export....

    I have the same 04B04 ECU and can send you the original. Let’s leave OV alone to do the heavy lifting. PM me your email and which file you need.

    This also, you should have the original zip file you can go back to.

    I did what others suggested earlier on in this thread then I did a search for "AGM" in this thread and found this from @OVTune: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/vf-tuner-for-the-3-5l-tacoma.662948/page-67#post-23499281

    I then started over and went with what Mat suggested and made a few adjustments after that. I upped the Base Duty to 94 (30 and up) and the 13.6v tables to 102. That gave me about 14.4 charging volts. However I still can't find anything on the internet where it states what my Autocraft 24f AGM needs for charging so I'm going to monitor it. I'll try to anyway.

    I finally got the 2004 update notice. All completed including follow on updates and the REG file is still happy.

    :woot:

    It looks like 2004 is goodness?

    Did you notice if these changes affected engine braking (i.e. coasting easier in gear), DFCO, etc.?

    S mode and d mode do not have the same per gear throttle limits on the stock tune. So you would need to update s mode to match d mode, then make your changes to d mode, if you really want to be able to compare.
