Received my anytime back up camera wiring harness today. Didn’t do the front camera kit yet, but hope to do that one day as well. Guess I will be hooking up this bad boy this weekend sometime. Pretty pumped about this simple mod. Still waiting on my CH4X4 rear camera switch to come in tho

Considering all the warranty work they had to do over the years, I wouldn’t do it any other way

I’m really happy with it. Id been researching shells for awhile and this one was the best match for my needs. Aesthetically, I knew it wasn’t going to look great on a stock ride, but I had plans to start the build shortly after. Now I dig it even more!

It's for mounting a fire extinguisher to your seat mounts. You can get one for the front or back. DeresertDoesIt is the maker of these. The fire extinguisher holder can be had from Amazon. That's where I got one for my truck.

Ah yes, the photo cut off the bottom of the rock formation and I should have found an area closer to the formation off of pavement. I like photos that show nature (the rock formation) overwhelming the man made object

That's a horrible idea. What time?
I like mine, and I can see it move bugs and debri either above at at least higher on the windshield. They do collect bugs, but they are there to take that impact from bugs and anything else. I wish I had installed mine earlier as I have two chips awaiting repair. My weathertech uses pre-existing holes to mount which is also nice.

Just food for thought. My Weathertec has enough space to allow for cleaning while installed. I can get a wash mit or sponge behind it, and my power washer gets the front clean. I do use a tar / bug remover pre-treatment because 35 miles of my 45 mile commute is through ranching / farming country. Bugs galore.

Thanks. I didn’t technically make any of it but I did make it work. The flag poles are made from a 10’ metal pipe I cut down to two 5’ sections. The black pipes were repurposed from another project.

the black steel pipes are bolted into the side of the bed. I just removed the taillights and drilled the holes. The flag poles slide into the pipes and are secured with the lock pins visible in the pictures

I guess just like anything else temperature is relative but I’d give anything to have Portland’s weather. Here in Florida when it’s 90° out it feels like it’s 190° because of the 100% humidity. If I didn’t work on my Tacoma because it’s too hot outside I’d have a stock taco :rofl::rofl:

I’m actually from Southeast Portland (131st and Powell). I miss the scenery, the outdoor life (and the temperature) of the Pacific Northwest a lot.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Just out messin around with my tiny stealth ditch/flood lights. Still amazes me every time what these little things put out with no other lights on. Nowhere near real ditch lights but they work for me.
