I hear a noise when I press the brakes

Just noticed it after I installed the front 5100's but it may be just coincidence. If I press the brake pedal I hear a slight click or dull ping noise as the brakes engage. If I hit the brakes multiple times it's only the first time that makes the noise but it'll do it again if I wait 15 seconds or so. Any ideas or an easy fix?

It could just be coincidence. My truck has done the same thing before, and I wasn't lifted. My remedy was having the dealership do a brake service (could have done it myself I guess). The service manager was well aware of what the issue was. Cleanup them up and I was happy again.

Thanks... It'll do it after backing up or just going forward too. Maybe new brake pads would fix the problem then? Only 25k miles on it but they are probably worn down about halfway. No big deal I guess just annoying.
