I bought the SPX3500 a couple years ago when it was on sale for like $130. While it will never clean as well as a gas version with a higher GPM rate, it does what I need it to-cleaning the garage floor and similiar. It was cheap and is super convenient.

Like apparently everyone else where, I to have a Sun Joe. I have the SPX3000, which I grabbed from HD for $116 on sale. It does great for homeowner type stuff.

It can and I have accidentally etched wood with it.

Nice! I have a SOCOM II that I still need to get zeroed. That SOCOM is a heavy bitch with the rail system but it’s a hoot to shoot.

Looked at it - yeah that's the one I have. I'm sure there are better ones out there but it sprays water fast and hasn't had any issues. Can't ask for much more than that, I paid $50 off Craigslist so who knows what it went through before me, too. Which reminds me I need to do my front door/step, it's getting a little bit spider webby. We always use the garage to get in and out :notsure: maybe sometime after work next week, do that before I plant my new lawn!

When I was burning wood and we would go through 6+ cords a winter I was a wood hound...any storm I was looking for trees. I split and stacked over 100 cords since we moved here...My trick was to rent a splitter from Sunbelt rental on a Friday before a holiday (like today) and they wouldn't be open until Tues. So for 1 nights rental you get it Friday evening to Tuesday morning...It cost like $100...

Typical September driveway..those were the days...This was a 100ft ash tree from up the street I got for free :)

Now there's no more splitting, stacking...lugging...Bugs, Bark, bees nests, mice droppings...
    just pellets :)

The last storm was hilarious. 2 days later, tree/wood blocking the road, I'm loading up and a woman comes over "we're planning to keep that for firewood" like, lady, it's blocking a somewhat heavily used public road 2 days after a storm! These city people shouldn't be allowed to do country things. :p

I like splitting with a wedge, we usually only do about 1 - 1.5 cords a year though, we have an open fireplace we just do it for the "fun", not necessarily for heat. I could probably squeeze in a wood stove and heat my entire house with 2-3, maybe 4 cords as the primary heat source with that. 1200 sq ft in the winter we only use about 900.

I stack a mix of wet and some dead fall, usually get it going with dead fall if it's only had <1 year to season, get it hot and then smoke out the neighbors with some of the wet stuff :D

I gotta get a wagon or something so I can move stuff around, I want to stack it out back in the sun but in the winter I just stack it in the garage for easy access.

What are you kidding me? It's the absolute best! No DMV required! Just go to your town hall? Goatfucked... it couldn't be made any easier. Granted it's fucking expensive, I'll give you that, but my god, just dealing with the town clerk is the easiest thing on earth. You must explain because it's as easy as 3 minutes in your local town hall.

I should get pellets soon. I really want the Vermont Wood Pellet ones--they're the best I've ever used. The dealer nearest me didn't have them last year. There's one in Holyoke that does, so I guess I could bring a trailer and lug 3 tons back home.

I have to have them delivered because I don't have a garage so I have to stack them in the driveway in just the right way using their skid steer. If I brought home 3 tons on a trailer it would have to sit on the trailer all winter. I stack 1 pallet of pellets in the storeroom in the house and keep the others unbroken in the driveway. That room is up looking like a World War II bunker with sandbags

The town hall isn't able to give out veteran plates despite it only requiring a single extra document. Now I have to drive an hour one way to drop something off in a box(because everyone overacted to a hopped up flu bug) to hopefully be called in a week or so to pick up plates at the DMV. It is actually easier to get vanity plates as they will just mail them to you-trip to the DMV still required. So I am about to drive an hour to Concord to drop off a thick fucking envelope in a box. As far as price, it is just barely more expensive than what I was paying for my previous state.

Oh and the best bang for your buck I found so far is La Crete pellets. I get them from Barkmulch Unlimited. They don't hit you with a massive delivery charge. Last years weren't so great but before that they were platinum. Last year I noticed more ash. Anyway they come on 60 bag pallets a metric ton for like $369ea. 180 bags just about gets it done for me.

The real concern in this area is radon since it is gaseous, an alpha emitter and naturally occurring. I highly doubt that any countertop would have a significant contribution to the background radiation levels or radon levels.

Is that why my pee glows in the morning?
Who else is strategically parking their Super Duty in their dirt/grass driveway to drip fluids and kill grass? Oh... Just me? Ok...

Jesus! The longest I waited was 3 weeks. I can't imagine months! WTF?
NH was one of the easiest states for anything paperwork related, especially because the Tamworth DMV is like 5 minutes from my house :drevil:
Now that sounds like a lot of fun!
@ABNFDC does have a point. Although, Tamworth town hall is able to issue vanity plates there. I filled the form out, dropped off the check and paperwork, got a temp plate, and got my custom plates in a few weeks!

Just depends which goat fucking district you reside in, I suppose :notsure:

I lug them all to the basement and restack them there. I don't want to take up all that space in my garage.

I can get those with free delivery locally, and I think it was the same price. They're my backup plan. They burned pretty well when I tried a few bags last year--about on par with the Maine Woods that I had two tons of, but nothing touches those Vermont ones.

Thing I miss about NH is that having multiple vehicles is plausible. I'd definitely have a miata or subbie, maybe speed3 (I really want a BRZ/FR-S). But, in RI it's wicked taxes and insurance is through the roof. An average job/house/car in NH means you can have a second one. The same setup in RI is like, scraping the barrel to pay the taxes on it every year let alone a second one just for fun.

    :spending:

Our italian food is way better though. Best y'all can come up with is Fratello's :p Gyro Spot in Manchester though, I do miss that.
