Wild plums are quite a lot smaller than store bought ones.

Download an app called “seek” you can take a picture of the leaves and it should be able to tell you for sure

You can also use it to identify bugs.

Our garden is about done. I think I’m gonna smooth it out and sow it back in grass and do a raised bed next year, a tad smaller.

Thanks!! Google was more focused on identifying the damage to the tree then the trees themselves. Hoping to be able to bring these guys back since I've lost plums to insect damage in the past so I've got a score to settle.

The grapes are ripe and sweet. I had to pull them because the birds and squirrels were hitting them hard and making a mess on my spa.

Not sure If this is the best thread for this but I'll try anyways....

A few of my arborvitaes are getting these weird colorations, and I'd imagine the limbs are going to die shortly. Anyone have ideas for cause / treatment?

    you got too many hornets!

they always seem to be later to produce then they flower and start blowing up

idaho has wild yellow plums they are almost a large cherry size but really good. Depending what color they turn, but usually ripe mid to late sept

Making pickled carrots today. I didn’t plant very many this year, but had a good yield anyway.

Sorry I didn't see this response till now but I'll keep a watch on them to see if they turn at all. They're still looking exactly like my original photo. There's barely any fruit on them so I don't know if the critters got to them all early or if the trees just have a really low yield. My guess is a little of both right now but seeing the state of the trees I'm leaning towards the latter. Hoping with a little maintenance and TLC I can bring them back a bit healthier next year.
