Any idea whats up with Diamondback covers recently?

Seems like they are unwilling to offer any discounts. Real truck has terminated discounts and the continuous group buy, and autoanything is unwilling to offer previous discounts. I still had a cover in my cart for $150 off but when I asked about another product they saw my cart and removed the discount, with the explanation that "it wasn't authorized."

 

They have the right to honor it or not . Low inventory?

 

It may be their right, just seems like poor customer service. I'm hoping it is just low inventory due to the weird times we are in and not a permanent deal.

 

Sales are down, manufacturers don't want to discount anything in hopes of making back some revenue on increased margins.

 

That’s not customer service. It’s a sales and marketing decision. They probably don’t need to discount because they have enough business

 

Did you happen to notice the pandemic that's hurt just about every sector of business lately? Maybe they just can't afford to offer you discounts right now...

 

Diamondback Covers typically don’t have any discount at all, unless you are a veteran/military. That discount was probably a mistake, you should have bought it while you can. With or without a discount, DB covers are the best cover you can get for your Taco. I have one and love it!!!

No, its lower sales caused by less disposable income in the marketplace. Because of the lower sales, they can't offer the discounts since it comes directly out of their pocket, not the manufacturers.
