This is the gateway drug into PC gaming.
You can build a really good computer for $1k. Threadripper from AMD seems to be a good choice.

I had that issue with an older MacBook as well, battery swelled up and looked like it was going to explode. Apparently the older MacBooks were prone to this. Got another one in ~2013 and it just died on me a couple weeks ago, although 7 years was a decent run I guess. Had to replace the graphics card on it once a few years ago.

It just won't turn on now, plugged in or not. Not sure what's wrong with it but I think I'm going to just get a cheaper Windows laptop to replace it since I hardly use a computer at home anymore

I'm not much help with PC desktops, haven't had one in many years. I imagine for $1k though you can get a decent PC setup for work, if you're looking to stay with Mac though you might have to spend a little more

These are junk seats I pulled out of the 4 runner that were already grease stained so I don’t feel so bad lol

I intend to buy quality after market seats but that'll be after bumpers and a lift... so probably 4yrs from now :anonymous:

I saw a safety video years ago where they showed a crash cart with an unsecured baby seat and smashed it into a barrier at only 35mph.. the velocity and force that the fake baby launched outta that cart still haunts me today. Im sure in a similar crash I would be dead with this stuff flying around.

Thankfully I only ever drive back roads and don't get above 40. Lots of stop and go and I'm only going home with this stuff not touring the landscape like I used to do with my van :anonymous:

yeah I've been rear ended at standstill by someone 'only' going 30 - 35mph and that shit hurts, way more than you think it would when you're going that fast in your car, because it feels so slow.

When i was 18 I rear-ended a Chevy cavalier with my VW new beetle. I was only doing 25 but because he was at zero I hit him with enough force i crushed his trunk in hard and far enough his back seats folded down. Amazingly enough we both drove away from the accident uninjured

I was sitting passenger in my ex gf's Acura at a stop light, some old man slammed into us thinking he was braking when he wasn't. Gave me his Home Depot card when asked for his insurance. Old people on the road freak me out as much as really young people with no experience.

Of course though nothing is as dangerous as someone that thinks they can drive expertly while drunk or texting, those are usually the worst accidents

All this talk of wrecks makes me want to buy plate bumpers and build the tool drawer/sleeping platform system BEFORE i buy a lift kit lol

Actually now that I'm really thi king about it, I should do that so I can get total weight and know for sure I'm getting the right springs:wink:

Welp axle roommate just cost me a lot more money. Found out the sewer main broke under the driveway due to an 8ft blocked section of buildup which explains why my driveway slab cracked and is settling
