I like that the vents are up top. Seems like a better location if water pools in my truck bed for any reason. My dometic has the vents at the bottom and I'm always checking to make sure they aren't obstructed by my gear or that one of my water jugs didn't leak and get water in the vents. It would be less of an issue if the vents were up top since my gear always settle to the bottom.

 

I might just have to get one. I’d love to hear additional feedback if anybody has some, there isn’t a whole lot of reviews online. What is the return timeframe for Costco?

Does anyone know what the power consumption is on the 50L?

 

A little on the slow side. But doesn’t really matter when most people cool it down the night before anyway. Especially when cold drinks are put into it.

Yah, exactly it worked awesome for a recent two night camping trip where day time highs for in the 90’s.

 

For me permanent bed space taken up is a no. Also another thing to do when you unpack from camping if you do want to take it out.But I’m sure they’re convenient when you do camp.

Ordered the 40L just now! I couldn't justify the cost of the Dometic and this is a rebranded Alpicool so not an unknown brand.
